Fall at Campbell Valley
Autumn Colors & Culture: A Portrait Session at Campbell Valley Park
There is something truly magical about fall in the Fraser Valley. The crisp air, the golden leaves, and the soft light at Campbell Valley Regional Park make it one of my favorite locations for portrait photography in the Fraser Valley.
Recently, I had the honor of photographing my sisters in a setting that felt incredibly special. We decided to pair the vibrant autumn backdrop with our traditional Karen clothes.
Celebrating Our Heritage
As a photographer, I am always looking for ways to tell a deeper story. Seeing the intricate patterns and bold colors of our Karen attire against the natural, earthy tones of the park was breathtaking. These photos weren't just about the scenery; they were about celebrating our culture and our bond as sisters.
Campbell Valley Park provided the perfect variety of backdrops—from the rustic old barns to the leaf-covered trails. It reminded me how important it is to capture not just how we look, but who we are and where we come from.
