Summer Giveaway Contest – Official Rules & Regulations
Date of Release: June 23, 2026
1. Sponsor
The Summer Giveaway Contest (the "Contest") is sponsored and administered by Naybu Taw / Naybutaw Photography, located in Vancouver, British Columbia (the "Sponsor").
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada (excluding the province of Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry (18 years of age in AB, SK, MB, ON, QC, PE; 19 years of age in BC, NB, NS, NL, YT, NT, NU).
Employees, officers, directors, representatives, and agents of the Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and any immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings, children) or persons living in the same household as such individuals are not eligible to enter or win.
3. Contest Period
The Contest begins at 12:10 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST) on June 23, 2026, and ends at 11:59 PM PST on July 7, 2026 (the "Contest Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified. The Sponsor’s computer system is the official time-keeping device for this Contest.
4. How to Enter
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST.
To enter, participants may use one of the two methods below during the Contest Period:
Method A (Social Media Entry): Log into your Facebook account, (i) "Follow" the official Naybutaw Photography Facebook page; (ii) "Like" and "Share" the official Contest giveaway post publicly; and (iii) Tag exactly three (3) friends in the comments section of the Contest giveaway post. Share the contest giveaway post on your timeline and tag our Facebook page @naybutawphotograpny for an extra entry.
Limit of one (1) entry per person. Any attempt or suspected attempt to use robotic, automatic, programmed, or otherwise fraudulent entry methods will result in immediate disqualification.
5. The Prize
There is one (1) prize available to be won (the "Prize"), consisting of:
One (1) photography session lasting up to one (1) hour in duration, to take place at a mutually agreed-upon outdoor location within the Greater Vancouver Area.
Thirty (30+) high-resolution, professionally edited digital images delivered via a secure online gallery.
The approximate retail value (ARV) of the Prize is [$350.00 CAD].
Prize Conditions: The Prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other substitutions. The photoshoot must be booked and completed before [September 30, 2026]. Travel, transportation, wardrobe, and any other incidental expenses not explicitly listed above are the sole responsibility of the winner.
6. Winner Selection and Verification
On July 10, 2026, at approximately 12:00 PM PST in Vancouver, BC, a random draw will be conducted from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
The selected entrant will be notified via Facebook Direct Message (or email, depending on the method of entry) within twenty-four (24) hours of the draw.
CRITICAL CANADIAN LEGAL REQUIREMENT: To be declared an official winner, the selected entrant must first correctly answer, without mathematical, electronic, or mechanical aid, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by the Sponsor via message or email.
The selected entrant must respond to the notification and correctly answer the skill-testing question within forty-eight (48) hours of the first contact attempt. If the selected entrant cannot be reached, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, they will be disqualified, their right to the Prize will be forfeited, and the Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner via a random draw from the remaining eligible entries.
7. Release of Liability and Indemnification
By participating in this Contest, all entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Sponsor, its owners, affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, losses, damages, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever resulting from or arising out of participation in the Contest, or the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of the Prize (including, without limitation, any property damage or personal injury sustained during the photoshoot session).
8. Privacy and Personal Information
By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information by the Sponsor solely for the purposes of administering this Contest and delivering the Prize. Personal information will be handled securely and will not be sold, traded, or shared with third parties, except as required by law.
9. Publicity Release
By accepting the Prize, the winner grants the Sponsor the absolute, irrevocable right and permission to use the winner’s name, city of residence, photograph, video, voice, and likeness for advertising, promotional, and marketing purposes in any media now known or hereafter devised (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and the Sponsor's website), worldwide and in perpetuity, without further compensation, notification, or review.
10. General Terms & Right to Cancel
Platform Disclaimer: This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, or any other social media platform used to promote it. By entering, you completely release Meta/Facebook from any and all liability related to this Contest.
Tampering: The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, violates these rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
Modification: If for any reason the Contest cannot be run as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, or fairness of the Contest, the Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest without prior notice or liability.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations in Canada. Void where prohibited. These Official Rules shall be governed exclusively by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any legal dispute or claim arising out of this Contest shall be brought exclusively before the courts of British Columbia located in Vancouver.
